Summary/Abstract: This scientific approach aims to highlight the principles underlying the organization and functioning of local public administration. The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze these principles. The paper is structured as follows: general issues regarding the notion of principle; fundamental principles of public administration; fundamental principles of local administration; conclusions and proposals.
