Summary/Abstract: This paper attempts to explore the use of internet by LIS professionals of India for providing library support services during the crisis of COVID-19. For this purpose, an online questionnaire was designed using Google forms and sent to Indian Listserv ‒ ILOSC, NMLIS, LIS-Forum, and SALIS. Th e study fi nds that the majority of the LIS (Library and Information Science) professionals are providing library support services during the crisis of COVID-19 pandemic. Th e study also fi nds that LIS professionals were using all sorts of internet based communication tools even before the onset of COVID-19 pandemic. Th is seems to have helped the Indian LIS professionals in delivering services to the users. Th e study emphasizes further development and improvement of internet based communication tools for handling similar crisеs arising in the future.
