Summary/Abstract: The following article is dedicated to reporting on the current corona pandemic out of interest in discourse ethics and embeds it in the larger context of crisis communication. Following on from the currently known biological-epidemiological facts, it recalls the scientific, political, and moral responsibility of the actors in this exceptional global situation, the economic and ecological causes and consequences, and the consequences that would have to be drawn for crisis management in the event of multiple disasters.
