Deceit Committed by the Mother After Birth

Summary/Abstract: The article examines in detail a case of deceit committed by the mother, considered relatively recently in Bulgarian case law. The case went through our three courts' instances, which gave contradictory qualifications of the facts and, accordingly, different decisions of the case. The more important reasons of the court decisions on the case, placed through the prism of the elements of the factual composition of the deceit, which is the ground for the nullification of contracts under Bulgarian law, are considered.
