Summary/Abstract: With the printing of this issue the current editor passes the relay baton to Jan Gross, whose work, since the 1970s, has been among the most influential in the corpus of East European studies on this side of the Atlantic. The work of "Continuing EEPS" will hence be fully in accord with the intentions of the founders, as well as with those of the current members of the Joint Committee on Eastern Europe, the new editor having been among the editors of EEPS from the beginning.
