LANGUAGE AND CULTURE: THE HISTORICAL RELATIONS OF ARABIC LANGUAGE ON BENGALI LANGUAGE AND CULTURE

Summary/Abstract: This paper will assess and clarify the impacts of Arabic language on Bengali language and culture. This study mainly looks at the historical relations and background of Arabic language on Bengali literature, what are the historical chronology explaıned in the literature to describe the Arabic language impacts on Bengali language and culture. Is Arabic language impacts on Bengali language through formal institutions or informal institutions? How Madrasah education played an important role for Arabic language impacts on Bengali language and culture? Through descriptive study, this paper aims to fınd out the correlation between Arabic and Bengali language from history.
