Summary/Abstract: Mamluk Sultanate era, begininning with the assassination of Al-Muazzam Turanshah, the last sultan of Ayyubids, was one of the first and most important steps taken by Baibars on the road to power. Because he was one of the memluks related to the death of Tuğran Shah. However, this assassination brought about the question of who will be the head of the new state. After this point, he played a role in the power struggle in the state established until his own throne. When his struggle for power ended up successfully and he ascended the throne, there were Mongolian Army closing up from the East to take the revenge of war of Ayn Calud, Bagradit Armenia to the North, which had allied against them, and Crusader forces on the Syrian coasts.
