Summary/Abstract: The article tries to point out the complications with the understanding of cosmopolitanism, with the possibility of education for cosmopolitanism and the importance of philosophy for the mentioned problems. Last but not least, we will also focus on the situation with the individual in the current social conditions in the context of the meaning in the current global processes.
