Summary/Abstract: Within the museum collection of the Franciscan monastery of Saint John the Baptist in Kraljeva Sutjeska community, there is a bronze bucket, found in the 1880s by the Austro-Hungarian soldiers in the well among the ruins of the most important Bosnian medieval capital Bobovac. The bronze bucket in question is completely decorated with different relief ornaments, and four figural compositions among others. Unfortunately, the researchers did not look into it closely, although it is one of the most beautiful Bosnian Renaissance artefacts that can be connected with some of the more famous European Renaissance artefacts. Are the ancient Roman emperors Constantine the Great and Licini represented among the figural compositions, just as they would be conceived by the Renaissance artists? We are convinced that the more precise dating of the bucket would be achieved by the so-called „Ghibellins“ merlons (Italian „Merlo“; German „Die Zinne“), discovered on one of the figures and presented in this article.
