MISSION "OF THE CHRONICLE OF MATICA SRPSKA IN SOFIA AND ROME: LETTERS OF JOVAN DUČIĆ TO TIHOMIR OSTOJIĆ

Summary/Abstract: Letters and postcards were prepared and commented on in the paper which Jovan Dučić sent to Tihomir Ostojić, in the period from 1903. until 1914, from Switzerland, Bulgaria, Greece and Italy. This one letters and stationery, which are kept in the Matica Manuscript Department Serbian, provide information about the beautiful, undisturbed, long-lived friendship between Jovan Dučić and Tihomir Ostojić, they contain relevant and interesting Dučić's autopoetic statements, and more than anything, these letters and stationery are a testimony to the effort, energy and dedication with which Dučić joined the cooperation on the Chronicle of Matica Srpska at the time of editing Tihomir Ostojić, when Ducic was almost an external member of the editorial board of this magazine.
