Summary/Abstract: The work of ACADEMIA ROMÂNĂ (1866–2016): THEMES, TRADITIONS AND LEGAL VALUES – author Mircea Dutu, includes studies and articles on a topic related to the legal grounds of the Romanian Academy, some of its rep resentative legal personalities, highlighting both Romanian contributions to the development of the scientific movement and international academic perspectives, as well as perspectives of national legal progress through post-modern encyclopedism and legal culture in the era of globalization. At the same time, we realize that the valorization of the work is meant to be a modest homage to the fundamental academic institution of the country, now at the completion of a century and a half of activity in the service of the Romanian Nation.
