Summary/Abstract: September 25, 2015, is a landmark date in the history of diplomacy and of the United Nations, through the adoption by consensus at the UN Summit, of the document entitled „Transforming Our World: 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda”. This new agenda is an action plan for the prosperity of people and of the planet. The 17 objectives and the169 targets proposed by this document aim at eradicating poverty in all its forms, especially extreme poverty, the greatest challenge globally. It is necessary for all countries to work in partnership to achieve this goal.
