Summary/Abstract: Aggressive speaking is a technique that politicians use in their effort to prove their thesis, defend their position, and attract as much of the electorate as possible to their cause. In the article “Strategies for linguistic aggression in the parliamentary speech of Bulgaria and Ukraine” we try to answer the questions what are the strategies of verbal aggression in the politicians of the two countries and when, how and for what reason they are used.
