Instruments of support in entrepreneurship simulation processes by local government units

Summary/Abstract: The article is a study linking the issue of local government finances and the issue of instruments supporting entrepreneurship put at the disposal of local government units. The main objective of this article is to identify and classify the instruments of supporting entrepreneurship available to local governments. The article is also an attempt to assess the effectiveness of each instruments in efforts to stimulate economic initiatives. The paper shows not only available to local governments tools to support entrepreneurship, but also evaluate validity of their use from the perspective of budgetary and extra-budgetary consequences.
