Hearings of the child in criminal and civil cases

Summary/Abstract: The present study proposes to analyse the synoptic legal perspective and the axiomatic way to understanding the legal phenomenon, referring to the hypostases, and the way a child can be protected, when it interacts with public authorities, private authorized institutions, individuals and legal persons responsible for its protection. Prohibition of discrimination on audition of children and respect their rights, the right to be heard, the free expression of opinion, the right to be informed and participation in decision-making process, represent in an objective and impartial way established mandatory rules both enshrined in domestic and international law.
