The queen has the merit of intuiting Mite's literary talent, which she invited to collaborate on the translation volume "Rumänische Dichtungen" (1881). The work was a real success in Germany and at the urging of the Queen the two continued their literary collaboration materialized by publishing under the pseudonym "Dito and Idem" three epistolary novels, a historic drama and two collections of short stories.
