Prohibition of the Assignment of Receivables in Factoring

Summary/Abstract: This article examines one of the most important problems which often arises in domestic and international trade, namely: the prohibition of the assignment of receivables in the contract for sale of goods or supply of services between the supplier and its customers (debtors). The article aims to analyse legal rules concerning the prohibition of the assignment of receivables in the national legislation and in the UNIDROIT Convention on International Factoring.
