Summary/Abstract: ‘(Un)heard’ in the title questions if we will learn from experiencing COVID-19 to counter unrestrained environmental devastation occurring, or will we remain largely untaught? I argue the need for transformative, Freirean-based ecopedagogy for praxis through, in part, problematizing and then countering dehumanizing, deplanetarizing pandemic responses to ‘wake’ us in recognizing the need of socio-environmental justice and sustainability.
