THE DESTRUCTION OF BOSNIA

Summary/Abstract: Bosnia and Herzegovina − today this is a devastated and divided society, a loose gathering of three damn courtyards, three provincial, primitive theatres of absurd, emptied from reality, in which constantly performs the play of chaos, lawlessness, hatred, fear and religious narrow-mindedness, captivity of mind and primitive ethno-nationalism, as images of irreversible escape from the world and life. In this play, both actors and audiences are dressed in attire of myths, lies, deceptions, falsifications of the past and present, in the uniform costumes of obedient followers of simple ethnic politics, which have transformed us for three decades into the hordes of vassals, into people who live only as parts of the whole. And each tribe exists only to be different from the other, the differences between them are proclaimed as sacred, and the similarities are as disease, while within each cote is quite opposite. The entire Bosnian cosmos, which has functioned for thousands of years as a unity of diversity, has been transformed into a village market offering one-dimensional identities, a painted past and a false present, a beautifully packed hatred, a musty religious fog and fresh signposts into the darkness. The most wanted goods are stupidity, ignorance and spiritual misery, chaos and lawlessness, corruption and crime, devotion to the herd and faith in the same God. Obedience became a model of virtue, lie was turned into the truth, darkness has got the colour of light, and everything was turned upside down. Two aggressive great-state nationalisms do not give up on the tearing of Bosnia, Bosniaks and Bosnians do not know how to respond differently than with their nationalism, willingly contributing to their own downfall. Ethno-religious elites, following the call of blood and soil, build, each for themselves, their people, their tribe, and maintain and nourish architecture of chaos, in which the meaning of the basic concepts that determine our entire social life is no longer known. The ethno-national destruction of Bosnia continues indefinitely, with the full consent of most members of all three ethnos, and there can only be one final result: the completion of anti-Bosnian project and division the country whose birth certificate dates back to the distant past. And it seems, we are not far away from that.
