Summary/Abstract: In this article the religious attitude in the works of the greatest avantguard poet Velimir Chlebnikov (1885 – 1922) is discussed. Owing to his versatile religious, mythological and folklore knowledge and his ambition to experiments, Chlebnikov creates in his work an original religiousness in which far away from time gods and confessions are connected. In a peaceful dialogue between them. This para-religiousness the poet uses for definite purposes. Here are presented the other acts of para-religiousness in Chlebnikov’s works-universal religions and mythological sections, eastern gods and myths, Slavonic-Russian pagan pantheon.lt is pointed out that the Christian religion is almost missing in the para-religiousness utopia of Velimir Chlebnikov.
