Summary/Abstract: According to the review, the pages of the book recall the busy life of the contemporaneous Nógrád County, which was characterized by both lofty struggles and petty skirmishes, as the title of the book suggests. The studies shed light on the diversity of events in Nógrád of the period, the difficulties that sometimes cause career detours.
