Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the results of research on the use of computers and the Internet in teaching and learning at the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation. The sample consisted of 198 students of different departments and levels of study. The aim of the research was to determine to what extent teachers and students use computers and the Internet in teaching and learning. Specific objective was to determine the differences in the use of computers and the Internet depending on the year of study. The results show that the highest percentage of respondents (98 %) use the computer, and all the respondents use the Internet. Computers and the Internet are used extensively for entertainment. There is a need for the faculty to make its information resources more available to students. There are differences in the way computers and the Internet are used, as well as the students’ interaction with teachers and colleagues, depending on the year of study. It is recommended to direct students to a higher level of interaction and collaborative work in the performance of study tasks.
