Summary/Abstract: The article deals with derivation of noun which designates the place where pita (pie) is sold, and baked. Few years ago the name piterija has started occurring in Zagreb. Where did such derivation came from, and what is usual derivation of nouns in Croatian language which designate a place of selling of the subject which the basic noun designates?
