Summary/Abstract: The article deals with Macedonian translations of ancient drama issued between 1945-2000. It is focused on translations done from classical languages and published as complete works or in a number of Macedonian periodical journals from this period. Thus, the aim of the paper is to offer insight into the translation of ancient plays in Macedonia between 1945–2000 in terms of the scope, intensity and main characteristics of the translational activities.
