Summary/Abstract: The situation created by the pandemic caused by the SARS Covid-19 virus shows how seriously affected could be the exploitation of the potential of the internal market, in which the free movement of goods and services is ensured, and which implies the elimination of all barriers between Member States. It is also revealed that, in the newly created emergency situation, electronic commerce remains, for consumers, the only safe way of trading between professionals and consumers. In this factual context, it is even more necessary for traders who operate in a Member Stated to apply some rules so that they do not block or limit the access to their online interfaces - the Internet sites, for the consumers in other Member States wishing to carry out cross-border transactions, a practice known as "geo-blocking".The application of Regulation (EU) 2018/302 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of February 28, 2018 which regulates the elimination of these barriers, is even more justified in the current context and contributes to the improvement of transactions between consumers and professionals, transactions which prove to be of utmost importance during these critical times.
