Summary/Abstract: The author considered the ways of ogranization of lexical material in the works of Akmeists. Sensitiveness of Akmeists to the reality, materiality of the word as a poetic material leads to the specific use of the concrete words introduced anew into literature. In consequence of the semantic distinctness they possess the ability to dynamize themselves mutually and creation of into-word intensities which become the source of added meanings. In effect — the proper to the poetic statement ambiguity and suggestiveness arises in the works of Akmeists thanks to the relations taking place within the structure of a text. The peculiar role of a context and characteristic for the creative method of out standing representatives of the trend the duality of a word (confrontation of realia and conventionality, literal and metaphorical meanings) was shown on the example of the poetry of Akhmatova, Mandelstam, and Gumilov. An attempt at elliptic construction of rendition and the use of thought shortenings was emphasized to the laconism and intensification of the poetic language. These features determine the dynamisation of lyrical narration. The Akmeistic picturesqueness (objectivity) is not resolved to the vivid capture of reality but is an autonomous, consciously constructed word configuration whose basis are associations and intrastructural sem antic oppositions.
