Summary/Abstract: Dionysius the Areopagite presents us with the vision of the entire created universe unseen and seen advancing towards God attracted to Him, but responding to the same attraction through a hierarchically liturgical solidarity ascent. It is a dynamic, ascending vision of his creation. God made creation for this continual advancement. The theology of light pervades all areopagic writings.
