Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the possible occurrence of natural disasters that could affect the archives, as well as the emergency plan of measures to be undertaken in the event of a disaster. It also addresses the purpose of protection and emergency measures, recommendations and the preparation of precautionary measures for the safeguarding of archival records in the event of a natural disaster such as those outlined above, as well as man-made disasters, such as wars and terrorism, fires, volcanoes, installations, explosives, etc.
