Resistance of railway vehicles to roll-over in strong across winds

Summary/Abstract: In the paper, the problem of resistance of railway vehicles to roll-over in gales was presented and analysed. Basic formulae describing this problem together with the authorial methodology of determination of the intrinsic roll-over wind velocity for a vehicle were derived and analysed.
