Summary/Abstract: A didactic bilingual dictionary may be a success provided that it is constructed as a result of some operations performed on socially standardized speech by means of stable speech units. Its basic unit is defined as verbum protritum, i.e. a verbal sign of functional value stated on the basis of a restricted number of lingual contexts.
