WORD-FORMATIVE STRUCTURE OF ADJECTIVES WITH INDO-EUROPEAN FORMATIVE *-lo IN THE HISTORY OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Summary/Abstract: In the article the author discussed adjectival-participial relationships within the boundaries of formations in -lyi in the history of the Russian language, proves the nominal character of these forms gradually consolidating in the sphere of nouns; the author also determined the basic tendencies in their development, connected with “qualitative” increase.
