Virgil Cândea: biographical note

Summary/Abstract: This text represents a brief bio bibliography of the academician Virgil Cândea (April 29, 1927 - February 16, 2007), who attended the University of Legal Sciences, Philosophy (license), Theology (license) in Bucharest. He is a doctor of philosophy (1970) with the thesis "Dimitrie Cantemir's Philosophy". He was the main bibliographer, head of the Documentation Section at the Academy Library, main scientific researcher at the Institute of South-Eastern European Studies of the Romanian Academy, university professor at various faculties in the country and abroad.
