Summary/Abstract: In this article, I propose to use the neologism dewzrost as a Polish translation for “degrowth” (décroissance). To this end, I describe the roots and evolution of the term degrowth, and then compare the concepts of degrowth and post-growth (also referring to agrowth and zero-growth). My argument is that dewzrost will more accurately convey the meaning of “degrowth” and help maintain its radical character. However, I leave the decision whether it should be adapted to the other representatives of the Polish degrowth movement.
