Summary/Abstract: The author presents his projects (some in collaboration) for the coats of arms and flags of two rural communes and their component villages, which were accepted and registered in the General Armorial of the Republic of Moldova in the years 2018-2019.The commune of Țiganca, Cantemir district, includes Țiganca, Ghioltosu and Țiganca Nouă villages. The composition, having symbols with a pronounced ethnographic character, was executed by the talented painter Oxana Diaconu-Catan, approved by the Decision of the Communal Council no. 05/03-XXVI of September 21, 2018 and registered by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Moldova no. 1042-VIII of December 22, 2018.The village of Cuhnești, Glodeni district, includes the villages Cuhnești, Bisericani, Cot, Movileni and Serghieni. The symbols emphasize the natural richness of the area, especially its ornithological side. Their drawing was completed by the aforementioned painter, being approved by the Communal Council Decision no. 6/3 of November 16, 2018 and registered by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Moldova no. 1062-VIII of December 28, 2018.
