Summary/Abstract: IPS Andrei’s text is focused on the symbolism of the cross seen from two angles: the cross on which the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, and through which the new salvation and the cross that the testimonies of Communism assumed were brought to us. IPS Andrei stops at a few names in the diocese of Cluj, considered important by their sacrifice – Metropolitan Bartolomeu Anania, Rector Liviu Galaction Munteanu, Protopopul Florea Mureșanu and Prof. Ioan Bunea - and offering today’s good opportunity to meditate on suffering and cross .
