Summary/Abstract: This study relies on the reconstruction of the devastation of the Choral Temple in 20 September 1963, as made by the Prosecutor’s Office and the Securitate (State Security) which can be found in the surveillance file of Rabbi Moses Rosen, currently in the custody of the CNSAS (National Council for the Study of the Securitate Archives). The image of the above mentioned event is recreated by detailed photos, information or even stories about it, as collected by assessing various photos of the Securitate (agents, internal agents, technical surveillance). Memoirs and testimonies from Rabbi Moses Rosen give a completely new interpretation of documents.
