Summary/Abstract: In this work, the author has tried to determine who the first dean of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law was, after the Second World War. According to official sources, the first dean was Prof. Jovan Djordjević. Studying the archival material we came to a different conclusion—that the first dean of the Faculty of Law in Belgrade after the Second World War was Prof. Milan Bartoš.
