Summary/Abstract: Clusters mean collaboration, knowledge, trust in individual public units which gives better results than the sum of the different activities of the same units. The media play a major role in building social capital. The aim of this study is to analyze the Balkan countries in the field of media clusters, showing the leading role of Romania and Bulgaria.
