Summary/Abstract: The article substantiates the need of developing a marketing strategy for the innovative development of higher education institutions. Depending on the nature of innovation there are identified types of marketing strategies. There are also given characteristics of a combined marketing strategy, taking into account the innovative development of a higher educational institution. Peculiarities of managing the combined marketing strategy of the university's innovative development are determined and explained
