The Bulgarian Political Reality. Syncretism Between Populism and Political Rhetoric

Summary/Abstract: The social situation is historically chancing and changing continually by the discourse-rhetorical situation. Socially specified, the rhetorical situation needs to be correspondent to the goals of the orator, to the case as well, in which the address is said. In that meaning the modern Bulgarian political world (the social situation), determines the behavior of the policy - making orator that will be dropped or keep his authority with his ambition, condescends to the populism as a way, a technology for the impact and the impression of the voters to raise him and confirm his situation in the power. The author presents some rhetorical techniques and tactics, determined by the social situation and used by the populism orator on his way to the power.
