THE ROLE and IMPORTANCE OF SPECIAL SECURITY OFFICERS IN A PANDEMIA

Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 Pandemic (Coronavirus Outbreak); which is said to have started in Wuhan province of China in November 2019, affected all living things in the world positively or negatively. It caused significant crossroads in people's lives and within this framework, many occupational groups were affected. Not only human relations, but also relations between countries, international politics, international economic and political organizations, their assets, functions and establishment purposes have started to be discussed. Healthcare workers and private security guards are at the top of the affected occupational groups. In this study, the effect, dimensions and consequences of the coronavirus epidemic on the private security profession and on the private security guards who perform this profession were examined and a new perspective was tried to be created.
