Summary/Abstract: The article pursues the following tasks: the elaboration and introduction of the main principles of methodology for teaching Russian as a non-native language based on the peculiarities of ethnic psychoimages of the language units that fixed in the learners’ minds, and the necessity to present the peculiarities of ethnic psychoimages in the Russian manuals.
