Summary/Abstract: The author presents the analysis of A. Akhmatova’s poetry from the point of view of a musical sonata form. The Second and the Third Piano Concert by Rakhmaninov is brought to mind as the poet reaches the unity in multiplicity of presented metaphors and the dramatic development of melodics of a poem.
