Summary/Abstract: This paper characterizes the theory and practice of developing language habits. The author describes some of the ways of forming habits by using glottodidactic methods such as: audio-lingual, cognitive and communicative. The results of the analysis show that the development of language habits should take place in repetitive informal situations, in which people use a foreign language in accordance with their intentions.
