Summary/Abstract: This article explores the psychological motivation behind the satirization of the human being in Svetoslav Minkov`s short stories. The relation between ideology of transhumanism and the effect of the uncanny is examined through the idea of becoming post-human. Lovecraft`s stories are considered as relating to the meaning of construction of the uncanny.
