ARTISTIC WORD IN FORMING CULTURAL COMPETENCE IN RUSSIAN PHILOLOGY STUDENTS

Summary/Abstract: The author of this article presents the thesis on literature impact in developing cultural competence in the process of Russian language teaching on advanced level. As the thesis for this work states, literature is a valuable source of knowledge on a given nation and its culture. The literature, by its illocutive impact on different spheres of recipient’s personality (cognitive, emotive and axiologic) helps to form a cultural competence.
