Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the difficulties in delimiting the boundaries of physico-geographical mesoregions in valleys. The study emphasizes that relief is one of the most important criteria in delimiting physico-geographical regions. The method of delimiting the boundaries of regions within the valley is discussed using the example of the Toruń Basin mesoregion.
