Summary/Abstract: The presentation deals with the problematic of social consequences of the Internet use. The author attempts to trace the impact of Internet use on social habits of the users. Furthermore, he tries to isolate the effects from the influence of age. By this, the author contributes to the discussion of knowledge society and cyberculture as he strives for correction of widely held opinions by comparing it to the results of his analysis. In addition, the methodological problems are discussed briefly
