Summary/Abstract: The papers deals with the beliefs concerning in the role of universities of economics and business schools. The author expresses a hope that the Declaration of the Principles for Responsible Management Education is as result of an intellectual reflection on the condition of universities in the contemporary world dominated by the concept of productivity.
