Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the recent case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union (the ECJ), in particular the Wintersteiger Case, concerning jurisdiction pursuant to Article 5(3) of the EC Brussels I Regulation in disputes arising out of alleged intellectual property rights infringements committed by means of content placed on the Internet.
